Are you ever concerned that a client seems to be hinting about something around their sexual or gender identity that feels unusual or out of the ordinary to you? Or has a client made a disclosure around sex/sexuality or gender that has felt big and you’ve not been sure how to respond with confidence?

Clients sometimes present with topics that feel big to us and we might struggle with how to confidently respond in the best way. Training with me will leave you inspired to work with gender, sexual or relationship diverse (GSRD) clients with a sense of security in your cultural competency.

I am an experienced queer trainer living and working in the communities that I’m training in. I provide a calm and safe atmosphere where you can test out your knowledge, and ask questions about gaps in your knowledge, and learn things you didn’t know you didn’t know. I work with experiential exercises such as working with fictional clients to give you hands-on experience, providing a safe space where there is no such thing as a stupid question. This means that you can walk away with a higher level of understanding and confidence when working with these topics.
